The Vidilanz Xtern-Cam is a true standalone surveillance camera with inbuilt digital video recordng function, integrated night vision and extraordinary long battery Life for rugged outdoor applicatons. The camera can operate for up to 37 weeks on its internal compact battery, and if, for exampLe, 1 takes 200 photos per night, every night of the week, the battery will still power both the camera and synchronised IR spotlight for up to 20 weeks! The camera can store up to 65,000 images and can overwrite older images when the memory card is full. The Xtern - Cam captures high resolution Black & White images where motion is detected and stores them onto a removable memory card for easy viewing on a computer or PDA. The camera can also be triggered from a gate or door opening or alternatively can be configured to capture images on a time - Lapse basis. The camera can be powered by a 12VDC plug pack or can connect directly to a Vidilanz Solar Panel.
